Calico Rock Progress - Jan 13, 1950 Calico Rock, AR - Funeral services for Mrs Martha A. Teegarden, aged 79, of the Old Joe vicinity who died Dcember 29, were held December 30. Burial was in Galatia Cemetery, with the Roller-Barber Funeral Service in charge of arrangements. Mrs Teegarden was born in Washington County, Indiana and moved to Arkansas as a young woman. She had been a resident of the Old Joe vicinity for 50 years. She was married at the age of 17 to John Turner, to which union five children were born. In 1906 she was married to J. T. Teegarden, to which union three children were born. She had been a member of the Baptist church for 59 years. Surviving, are three sons, Henry Turner of the home, Ben Teegarden of Calico Rock and Otto Teegarden of Old Joe; one daughter, Mrs Bertha Southard of Gravelly, Ark.
