Marvin L. "Si" Berry, 79, of 609 East 8th, died June 14, 1986, at Hutchinson Hospital after a short illness. Born March 12, 1907, at Arlington, he married Aliene M. Anderson April 19, 1929, at Lyons. She died Sept. 14, 1974. He then married Faye A. Fisher July 11, 1975, at Federal Way, Wash. He was retired vice president of Central Press Co. at Hutchinson and was a resident of Hutchinson most of his life.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Association of Retired Persons No. 2899, both of Hutchinson.
Survivors: wife of the home; son, Gene, San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Linda Bennett, Oklahoma City; stepdaughters, Patricia Hall, Sumner, Wash., Mary Scheel, La Crosse, Wis.; sisters, Fern Adams, Mount Hope, Mabel Fugit and Marcy Patterson, both of Modesto, Calif., Zoe Thompson, Kingman; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, the Rev. Wayne D. Findley. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
