Robert was the son of Joseph Hanly Bundy and Lillian R. Preston. He married in 1937 to Gladys K. Welch, the daughter or Patrick and Bertha Welch. The couple moved west to California in 1940. By 1946 Bob and Gladys resided in Antioch, California where Bob owned and operated Sedan Taxi on 2nd Street for many years. He was also a welder by trade for 25 years and a retired member of Local 749 Welders Union out of Stockton. Bob and Gladys were married 39 years before Gladys passed away in 1976. He was a good man and friend of many.
