Weaver, Isy Idalia, 87, Technical Illustrator, died Monday, May 4, 2009. During her career, she worked for Boeing-Wichita, Pitman, K.C., KS., Allied Signal K.C., KS and McDonalds K.C., KS as a hostess. She was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Kansas where she taught Sunday school. She was also a member of the South Side Kansas City Optimist Club and was a watercolor artist. Preceded in death by father and mother; Alonzo & Josephine (Sullivan) Sharp, husband, Vernon Weaver, Sr.; daughter, Marilyn Mueller. Survivors include sons; Vern (Cindy) Weaver Jr., Wichita, KS, Bob (Pam) Weaver, Las Cruces, NM; daughter, Rosalind (Bob) Ray, Hico, TX; brother, Roy Sharp, Wichita, KS; sister, Lottie (Clell) Blanton, Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Robert Joseph Ray III, Richard David Ray, Matthew Ray, Shelly Mueller (Kakowris), Gina Mueller (Archie), Cherie Mueller (Marley), Erik Mueller, Scott Mueller, Jason Weaver, Christopher Weaver, Savannah Weaver, Spencer Weaver, Lindsey Oxner, Jefferey Dale Weaver, Susan Marie Weaver, Carrie Lynn Weaver; and twenty five great grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice Services or American Cancer Society .
