Wm Dail, aged 79 years, died at his home on Reservoir Hill, Tuesday noon, after an lingering illness. He was a veteran of the Civil War, being in the Confederate service. He leaves a widow, two sons and two daughters. The funeral services were held at the M E church, South Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev R M Standifer, pastor. The remains were laid to rest in Sunset cemetery.
