MANN, Caroline COLUMBIA - Services for Caroline Hampton Mullally Ladue (Buzzy) Mann, 75, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with burial in St. Philip's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Charleston, Thursday at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 7275, Columbia, S.C. 29202 or to Kanuga Annual Fund, Kanuga Conferences, P.O. Box 250, Hendersonville, N.C. 28793-0250. Mrs. Mann died Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Wildewood Downs under the care of Palmetto Health Hospice. Born in Hendersonville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Brigadier General Laurence Knight Ladue and Caroline Mullally Ladue. She attended Charleston Day School and Ashley Hall in Charleston, St. Catherine's School in Richmond and American University in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Mann and her late husband, the Rev. Gordon Hossley Mann, a priest in the Episcopal Church, enjoyed the many friendships they made in parishes in South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. After her husband's death in Charleston in December 1992, Mrs. Mann moved to Columbia. Mrs. Mann was a member of the Colonial Dames of America in South Carolina, the Junior League in Columbia, the Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, the Fortnightly Club in Columbia, the Junior League Reading Club and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Caroline Hampton Lowndes Mann McMillan and Dr. James Lee McMillan, Jr. of Statesboro, Ga., Sarah Spencer Mann of Charleston and Susan Adger Mann Levy and Robert Geoffrey Levy of Columbia; granddaughters, Caroline Hampton Preston McMillan and Margaret Coleman Ross McMillan, both of Statesboro, Ga. and Eileen Preston Lowndes Levy of Columbia; brother and sister-in-law, Laurence Knight Ladue, Jr. and Deborah Mirse Ladue; nephews, niece and their families, Laurence K. Ladue III, William Jaycocks Ladue and Leah Ladue, and Evelyn Lowndes Ladue Wells and Douglas Wells, all of Charleston.
