"Burley Lee Anderson, 77, of 2544 NW 1st, passed away Thursday at Baptist Medical Center. Services 10 A.M. Monday at West Main Church of Christ with interment in Sunny Lane Cemetery. Directed by Capitol Hill Funeral Home.
Mr. Anderson was born in Johnson City, Texas, and came to Oklahoma City in 1935 from Elk City. He had been employed with Finley's Nursery prior to his retirement in 1965. Memberships included the West Main Church of Christ.
He is survived by 5 sons: John Lee & Russell, both of Oklahoma City; Henry & Bobby, both of Moore; and LeRoy of Westville, Oklahoma; a daughter, JoAnn Cobb of Dallas and a sister, Willie Mae Smith of Dallas. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren."
