Kyle Roland Hatcher was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 14, 1978. He was a beautiful baby, the best mother's day gift ever. Kyle spent his formative years in Portage and Battle Creek, MI. He was intelligent, handsome, and a gifted athlete with a quiet confidence and natural charm. Kyle Roland Hatcher, also known to many as "Pound for Pound", "The Truth", and "Hatch" had the skills, along with an electric smile that lit up scoreboards and hearts everwhere he went. To know him, was to love him. Kyle's life was full of promise. He had unlimited potential and natural charm. Kyle was a valued employee of World Tower, where he worked and trained others.

On April 28, 2009 Kyle was in a tragic automobile accident and God took him home. He no longer shares the struggles and concerns of mortal men. God has eased his soul and made pure his spirit. All those who were touched by Kyle know how much he will be surely missed. He was loved by many and made us all proud. We will always wish we had more time with him. We will love and care for his daughters; Israel and soon to arrive Jaydn. We know Kyle will continue to look out for his little brother William. There could never be better friends; the two of you shared an unbreakable love and friendship. Kyle, it comforts us to know you are in the kingdom of our lord. We will always love you, think of you and smile.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7th at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 2080 W. Grand Blvd., Detroit, Michigan 48206 with a 10:00 a.m. family hour and 11:00 a.m. funeral. Final Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, 19975 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Michigan 48203.
