-Deaths-
Vanosdol- April 19, 1872, of Paralisis, at his residence in Pleasant Township, Jacob B. Vanosdol.
The deceased wanted but five days of being 85 years of age. Mr Vanosdol was one of the early settlers of this County, having emigrated from Kentucky in 1818. He was for 60 years a consistant member of the Presbyterian Church; a good neighbor, a kind father, a true friend, and esteemed by all who knew him. He leaves a widow, one sister, two years senior (Mrs. Henry Banta), 8 children, and numerous grand children to mourn his departure. He sat with us on Sabbath at the communion table- on Friday night was a corpse, and was buried on the Sabbath following. He came to his grave in a full old age.
