Died: December 25th, 1918. Mr. E.D. Fitzgerald, our kind neighbor and friend. Mr. Fitzgerald leaves a wife and ten children and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his death. Our sympathy goes out to all the bereaved ones. His funeral was conducted by Rev. Gus Bonds, at Mars Hill.

Mr. E. D. Fitzgerald died at his home near Mount Olive Christmas day. The funeral and interment was at Mars Hill Thursday. Mr. Fitzgerald had been confined to his home for nearly a year, and his death was not unexpected. He is survived by a wife and a large family of children who have the sympathy of their many friends.
