Born on Jan. 31, 1916, in Georgetown, he was a son of Morton Edgar and Effie (Goodner) Vanosdol.
On April 15, 1938, he and Rose Oliver were married. She survives.
Mr. Vanosdol worked at Haynes Stellite until 1951 and farmed most of his life until retirement.
He was a member of the First Salem Baptist Church and joined the church around his 50th wedding anniversary. He was a church trustee for eight years and was a member of Farm Bureau Co-op.
Services was held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Hill officiating. Burial was in the Sharpsville Cemetery.
