She was the daughter of the late Maurice and Ruth (Laurans) Yantes. She was a graduate of Westbrook College in Portland, ME. Mother of Robert Abeshaus of Cranston, Bruce Abeshaus and his wife, Deborah, of Indianapolis, IN and Nancy Abeshaus and her friend, Barbara Kaskosz, of Wakefield. Sister of Jeanne Samuels of FL. Grandmother of Jimmy.
