Clyde Henry Ault was born in Manning, which is now a ghost town in Utah County along the road to Mercur. His parents, John Henry Ault and Elva Irene Carson Ault raised a large family in the Cedar Fort and Manning area. Clyde married Pearl Pierce 27 July 1927 in the Logan Temple. Their first daughter, Doris Dean Ault, was born in Cedar Fort. They moved to American Fork by the 1930 United States Census and they had two more daughters, Marilyn and Myrna May, were born there.
