Clarence Mitchell Moore, was the love of my life. He was the most wonderful husband and father to ever walk the earth. He and I were married on December 19, 1981. We welcomed our son Dusty to the world on August 16, 1986. We lost two other children, Jessie Dakota in 1992 and Morgan Cheyenne in 1995. I lost him while he was on a fishing trip with Dusty. They had been to the White Buffalo to trout fish, they left on Friday, April 24 and they were on their way home when he had a massive heart attack and died at the age of 53, in Bono, Arkansas. He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Were he past away.
His funeral was held at Senter's Funeral Home, in Fulton, Mississippi. The service was performed by his good friend Brother Jackie Gray and our pastor Brother Doug Wilson. He was buried on Wednesday, April 29,2009 in the Keyes Cemetery.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved collecting guns and knives. He also loved being outdoors. He and I spent a lot of our time riding the Mule, (4 wheeler) in the woods.
He worked for Sanderson Construction in Amory, Mississippi, at the time of his death. He loved working there. He was a well liked and respected man, people stood in line for hours to view him. His registration book was full and some did not sign in. He received a lot of beautiful flowers and gifts from his friends.
He is survived by me, Laurie Ann Pearson Moore, his son, Clarence Dustin "Dusty" Moore, his mother Willa Jean Gillentine Moore, his sister, Brenda Jean Moore Franklin and her husband Jerry, his brothers Dr. Danny Davis Moore and his wife Marilyn, and Billy Steven Moore and his wife Selena. He is also survived by my family, my parents Charlene and Leavelle Pearson, my sister, Alisa Pearson Dollar and her husband Joe. My brother Robert Pearson and his partner Danelle. He had two nieces, Mary Beth Moore and Cierra Belk. And several nephews. Scott and Stacy Franklin, Sam Moore, Ben Moore,Jacob and Ethan Dollar, Christopher Pearson and Jessie Belk. And 4 great nephews: Hunter and Brady Franklin and Gage and Gabriel Dollar.
He was preceded in death by his two children, Jessie Dakota and Morgan Cheyenne Moore. His father Clarence Gaston Moore. And his grandparents, Jessie Davis and Fannie Lee Moore and Marvin and Charlie Lee Gillentine.
I will never recover from my loss. And I will never love again. I cry for him every day. And my son will never recover from the loss of his father. Rest in peace my love.
