Geneva E. Gaylord, 85, of North Branch died Aug. 19, 1996 at the Green Acres Country Care Center in North Branch.
Geneva was born June 30, 1911 in North Branch and attended schools there. She married George T. Gaylord on Feb. 1, 1940, and lived in Cambridge, Hill City and Cloquet before moving to North Branch in 1976.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch and Eastern Star, and volunteered for several years at Green Acres Country Care Center.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, George, and her parents, John A. and Ida (Bjorkman) Satterstrom.
She is survived by her son, Thomas of Grand Marais; sister, Hazel Ahlstrand of St. Cloud; brother, Arnold Satterstrom of Lake San Marcos, CA; one granddaughter.
Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Rudolph officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in North Branch.
