Mrs. Myrtle Font Haacks died Tuesday, January 7, 1969, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. A native of Livingston Parish and a resident of Baton Rouge, she was 68.

Survived by six sons, Floyd Font, St. Amant, George and Herbert Font, both of Houston, Tex., Johnny and Charles Font, both of Denham Springs, and James Font, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Carlos Beck, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Eunice Hill, Jackson; one sister, Mrs. Ira Fortenberry, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Bob, Wilson and Percy Achord, all of Walker; 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
