Mr. David Mason, age 46, of Gamaliel, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at his residence.
Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the Roller Chapel with Reverend Dr. David Johnson and Reverend Max Pyron officiating. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
He was born February 21, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Richard A. and Betty Knowles Mason. He is survived by his daughter: Amanda Mason: Jonesboro, Arkansas; mother and stepfather: Betty Mason King and Herman King: Gamaliel; brother: Alan Mason (and wife Meredith): Austin , Texas; nephews: Trevor and Dawson Mason; a niece: Chandler Mason and a good friend Zaunna Wells. He was preceded in death by his father: Richard A. Mason and a sister: Melinda R. Mason.
David was a member of First Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was an avid reader, enjoyed repairing musical instruments, listening to music, studying about outer space enjoyed nature.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Building.
