Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late David J. Doyle; mother of David Doyle Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Amherst, New York, and Carole Strassheim and her husband, Bob, of Lake Monticello, Virginia.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass, with the Reverend N. Alan Lipscomb presiding, to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at Our Lady of Peace Retirement Residence, 751 Hillsdale Road, Charlottesville, Virginia. The Funeral Mass and burial will be in Buffalo, New York at a later date.
The family expresses our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to the staff and the volunteers at Hospice House for the loving care and friendship they provided during the past six months.
