Aida E. Petrelli, 79, of Champaign, formerly of Springfield, died Monday at home. She was born July 15, 1917, in Benld, the daughter of Guido and Nicolina Fulgenzi Bucci. She married Gene Petrelli in 1938. Mrs. Petrelli was co-owner of the Black Angus Steak House from 1953 to 1983. Survivors: husband, Gene; a daughter, Dena Vermette of Champaign; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Newton of Chicago; a half brother, Ralph Bucci of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Mass, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
