Burial was in Zion Rest Cemetery near Weston for Mr. Wright who died Monday, February 6, 1978 in the local hospital after a lengthy illness.
A native of Jackson Parish, Mr. Wright was a retired school bus driver. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Wright of Winnfield; one son, Jesse Wright of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Bemont and Mrs. Lucille Barron, both of Winnfield, and Mrs. Shirley Jones of Tullos; two half brothers, Jesse Boyd and Harvey Boyd, both of Ruston; and eight grandchildren.
