"Services for Charles J. White, 20, of 3919 Woodland, who died Monday at Research Medical Center of injuries suffered when he was shot Friday night at a service station at 5410 Prospect, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Fellowship Center Church of God in Christ and at 1 p.m. Thursday at the graveside at the National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth. Mr. White was a lifelong resident here. He had been a service station attendant for Leo's Petroleum company. He was an Army veteran. He leaves his parents, the Reverend and Mrs. Charles W. White of the home; and four brothers, Nathaniel E. Clemons, Ronald H. Clemons, Leon A. Clemons and Paul J. White, and two sisters, Ms. Donna M. White and Mrs. Loretta Cooper, all of Kansas City."
