Carthage Girl Becomes the Bride of Tracy Parks
Carthage, April 26th - A very pretty home marriage was solemnized at Glendon, Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Davis, where their daughter, Bessie, was united in marriage to Tracy Parks, of Hallison.
The bride came in on the arm of her father and the bridegroom entered on the arm of Dr. J. F. Davis, brother of the bride, and Rev. E. E. Rose performed the ceremony.
The bride waa dressed ia a traveling suit of tan and the bridegroom in a black dress suit.
After the ceremony the guest and bridal party were served a sumptuous dinner in three courses, after which they left via the Raleigh, Charlotte and Southern for Washington City and other points. Both formerly were in the railroad service of this company and were well known both in and out of the county. A number ef guests from points in the county were present. Those from a diatance were Miss Nannie Davis, of Raleigh, and Charles Davis, of Columbia, S C.
