Lon Biddle Dies Suddenly Today
Lon Biddle, age 68, resident of this city most of his life, died today at 8 a.m. at the family residence, 1516 Walnut Street, of a heart attack. After arising and eating breakfast this morning, Mr. Biddle was sitting in a chair when he was stricken. He died before aid could be summoned. Coroner Robert L. Armington investigated. A native of Ovid community, Mr. Biddle had spent most of his life in this vicinity. He was a member of the local Eagles Lodge.
The body was removed to the Baker Brothers Funeral Home, where it will lie in state. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 10 a. m. Burial will follow in Ovid cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Farrell Biddle, this city; three brothers, Aust Biddle, Fountain City; Ross Biddle, Dayton, O., and Cal Biddle, Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Rider, Dayton.
