Otaway Elvin Rudisill was my Great Grandfather and Father to Henry Sidney Rudisill; my Grandfather. Otaway and his last son, Lyle Rudisill died within 7 Days of each other. I do not know the cause of death on either one of them. Otaway's name is a constant source of misspellings; alternately spelled as Ottway, Otway, Otoway, etc. I believe, the correct spelling is Otaway; based on my Grandfathers birth certificate. Otaway was married 3 times. He lived in Illinois, Florida, Iowa, and Missouri. At one time, Otaway owned several parcels of land in central Florida. Some folks thought Otaway to be a handsome man and resembled Paul Newman, the movie actor. Judge for yourself from the photograph.
