Esther A. (Schoenleber) Chamberlain, was born on May 16, 1915 in rural Walton, Nebraska to Walter R. & Anna S. (Anderson) Schoenleber. She passed away on April 24, 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 93 years.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lincoln and a lifetime member of the O.E.S. Chapter #27 in Nelson.

Esther was a 1935 graduate of the University of Nebraska in Home Economics. She was a home economics teacher and county extension agent in several Nebraska counties before retiring in the county extension office in Otoe County.

She is survived by: Daughter & Son-in-law Nancy E. & Donald Wagner of Cornelius, NC; daughter Mary A. Weseman of Lincoln, NE; granddaughter & Spouse Laura & Matthew Cary of Charlotte, NC; Grandson & Spouse Michael J. & Susan Weseman of Lincoln, NE; granddaughter & Spouse Melanie S. Weseman & Victor Fazzino of Stuart, FL; 4 great grandchildren; brother Paul Schoenleber of Reno, NV; and brother-in-law Herman E. Davis of Lincoln.

Esther was preceded in death by parents, husband J. Duane, & sister Dorothy Davis.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Lincoln, NE.

Interment was in Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln, NE.
