My grandpa. Son of Frank Garvey and Maude Bedbury. He married Aileen McGill August 16, 1926 and had five children: Marjorie, Daniel, Barbara (my mom), Pete and Margaret. He had nineteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He lived in Minnesota until 1945, when the family moved to Southern California. My grandma died in 1967 and he never remarried. He was a wonderful grandpa and was a very kind person. We moved away to Arizona in 1975 and only saw him a few times before he died. Thankfully I was able to visit him the summer before he died. His memory was starting to go but he was still the same smiling, happy grandpa that I had always known.
