Kasey Lynn Bates, age 17, of Wayne County, Ky., passed away Saturday, July 13, 2002. She was born on April 28, 1985, the daughter of Ricky and Laura Bates. Both parents survive.
She is also survived by one sister - Melissa Sue Bates, two brothers - Ricky G. and William Junior Bates, her grandmothers - Ethel Noble and Thelma Adell Honeycutt, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Preceding her in death are her grandfathers - Steve Noble, who passed away November 12, 1994 and William Bates, who passed away January 22, 2000.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church.
