HENRY JAMES ALLARD was born April 6, 1888 in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota to Samuel Allard and Emma Malvina Marie (Crompe) Allard.

Henry Allard married Lucy Ellen Miller.

To this blessed marriage were born the following children:

Edna Allard

Services Held For Henry Allard

Memorial services for Henry James Allard who passed away Friday, July 28, 1967 in St. Joseph's Hospital in LaGrande, were Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Bollman Chapel, with Rev, LeRoy A. Brownell, pastor of the Joseph Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Luella Miller was organist, and Mrs. Catherine DeBoie was soloist and sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Tenderly He Watches".

Casket bearers were Robert A. Johnson, Roy M. Thompson, O.H. Walker, Ray Stevens, Leo Patten, and Herbert Reavis. Interment was in the Prairie Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Allard was born April 6, 1888 in Duluth, Minn., son of Sam and Malvina Allard. On April 5, 1920 he was married at Ellensburg, Wash., Lucy E. Miller. In 1929 he and his family came to Wallowa Lake where he was a plant operator for Pacific Power & Light Co. until his retirement. Since then they had lived in Joseph. He was a member and a past commander of Wallowa Lake American Legion Post 157 of Joseph.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy E., and two daughters, Mrs.
Edna Mansfield and Marilyn Allard, all of Joseph,; one son, Charles Sam Allard of Yakima, Wash.; eightgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Emma) Landon of Seattle, and Mrs. Zeb (Rose) Patnode, of Coleraine, Minn.
