LUCY ELLEN (Miller) ALLARD was the wife of Henry James Allard.

LUCY E. ALLARD

Lucy E. Allard, 82, a resident of Joseph for 51 years, died a the Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande on Saturday, June 7, 1980. She had been in failing health for some time.

The daughter of Charles W. and Lydia Jane Hicks Miller, she was born in New Carlisle, Ind., on Feb. 1, 1898. When she was 10 years old, she moved with her family to the state of Washington.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at the Prairie Creek Cemetery, with Funeral Home handled all arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Edna Mansfield, Joseph; one son, Charles Allard, Yakima, Wash.; eight granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and nieces and nephews.

One daughter, Marilyn Lee 'Susan" Allard, preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1970; five brothers also preceded her in death.

Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Wallowa County EMT Association, care of Bollman Funeral, Enterprise.
