ELEANOR CASPER

Eleanor Casper, 89, formerly of Kiel, died Tuesday morning, June 15, 1993 at Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein. She was the former Eleanor Mathes, born October 9, 1903 in the town of Schleswig, a daughter of the late Robert and Ida Henschel Mathes. She was a graduate of Kiel High School. Her first marriage was to Alvin Jones. On October 29, 1958 she married Walter Casper, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel. She worked at the former Kiel Woodenware, until her marriage in 1958. Her husband, Walter, preceded her in death on December 9, 1972. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Jane (Gilbert) Jones Andress, Bellevue, Wash., and Marion (Robert) Jones Casper, Jefferson City, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Aleff.
Friends and relatives are welcome to attend a graveside service at the Kiel City Cemetery, with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating.
