Garcia, Louella O., 73, of Hart, went to be with her Lord Friday, March 17, 2000. She was born March 16, 1927 in Ludington, the daughter of William and Alma (LaHaye) Olk. She married Joseph Garcia. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph Garcia of Muskegon, Greg and Carolyn Garcia of Hart and Rick Garcia of Kaleva; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Cliff Gillespie of Flint and Diane and Jeff Smith of Manistee; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Genevieve and George Karl of Ludington; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, Darcie Garcia, Carol Bickel and Deborah Schramski; two sons, Pete and Sam Vunck; six brothers; George, William, Louis, Henry, Arthur and Frank Olk; six sisters, Estelle Small, Leona David, Mildred Leppla, Rose Modjeski, Betty Nelson, Grace Stiller; and an infant brother and an infant sister. Funeral services Wednesday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Manistee with Rev. David Bailey officiating. Burial in North Victory Cemetery in Mason County.
