Mrs. Finneran's Rites Saturday
Mrs. Martha Finneran, 83, 412 N. 11th, died at her home early today. she had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Finneran was born in Germany, coming to this country at the age of 3. She was a daughter of John and Catherine Ziegal Wiese.
She married to Andrew Finneran in Leavenworth Oct. 23, 1899. Mr. Finneran died in 1943.
She was a member of the Church of the Immaculate conception.
Survivors include two sons, John Finneran, 2307 Dakota and Louis Finneran 1812 Shawnee; six daughters, Mrs. Anna Dodd, 412 N. 11th; Mrs. Frances Zimmerman, 625 Dakota; Mrs. Mabel Miller, 1103 Ottawa; Mrs. Helen Pennington, 2510 S. 4th; Mrs Myrtle Hilscher, 938 Ottawa, and Mrs. Lucille Harth, 1301 Shawnee; 34 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and one eat-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at the Church of the Immaculate conception Saturday at 9 am.m., the Rev. Leo f. Horner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at the Sumpter funeral Chapel by the Daughters of Isabella at 7:30 p.m. Friday and by friends, Knights of Columbus and members of the parish at 8 p.m. Friday. The body is at the chapel.
