BAY MINETTE - Alex B. Corley III, a native of Bay Minette, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile. He was 46. Norris was a building construction carpenter and had served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his son, Braden Grant Corley of North Conway, S.C.; his daughter, Aaren B. Corley of San Antonio; his mother, Casteva D. Corley of Bay Minette; his brother, Harry Thomas "Tom" Corley of Acworth, Ga.; two sisters, Thela C. McKay and Patricia C. "Pat" Horton, both of Bay Minette, and one granddaughter. Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. today at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette Building Fund; Heritage Presbyterian Church in Acworth, Ga.; or to a favorite charity.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home.
