She was a daughter of the late Charles Perry and Dorothy Cruser Fague. Her first husband was David E Garfinkle. She was the widow of Edward W. Kartlick Jr., who died April 1, 1985. A 1941 graduate of Shippensburg High School and a graduate of Robert Morris School of Business, now Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Kartlick was a former employee of Chambersburg Trust Company. She and her late husband owned and operated the former Dave's Photo Supply in Gettysburg. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Shippensburg Historical Society and the Wednesday Night Knitting Club.
