Sandra (Fenstermacher) Paetzell, 72,
formerly of Skillman, NJ, passed away at her Telford, PA residence on Sunday, March 1, 2009.
She was the wife of the late William L Paetzell who passed away in 1993.
Born January 2, 1937 in Quakertown, PA. she was a daughter of the late Willard and Thelma (Geottler) Fenstermacher and was a 1954 graduate of Souderton High School. She also graduated from Ursinus College with degrees in Economics and Political Science and received a Master's degree from Trenton State College in Elementary Education and a Master's degree from Ridge College in Counseling. She was employed as an elementary school teacher for over 40 years, many of those years in Montgomery Township, Somerset Co., NJ.
Mrs. Paetzell was a former Chairperson for the Breast Cancer Research Center and was a member of the Montgomery Township Republican Club.
Surviving is a nephew, R. Bruce Fenstermacher and his wife Teresa of Franconia, PA.; 4 nieces, Carol Darragh and her husband William of Harleysville, PA, Barbara Gourley and her husband George of Hockstown, PA, E. Joanne Radcliffe and her husband Dale of Crownsville, MD. and Susan Snyder and her husband John of Telford, PA.; ad 12 grand nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, W. Bruce Fenstermacher in 1989.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, March 5th, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 69 W. Broad St. Souderton, PA, where friends may call for the viewing from 10-11 AM.
Graveside services will take place at 2 PM at Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Upper Black Eddy, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be make in her memory to the Montgomery Co. SPCA, 1059 Sweifford Rd., Perkiomenvilole, PA 18074, or to the church at the address above.
