WALTER LOGAN DIES SUDDENLY
Boy, Twelve Years Old, Leaps From Father's Arms and Dies of Diphtheria.
Walter Logan, twelve years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Logan, 616 Pawnee street, died very suddenly about 11:30 o'clock last night. Diphtheria caused his death. Walter had been ill but four days. He appeared better yesterday and his father talked with him until 11:30 o'clock last night. Suddenly the boy leaped from bed into his father's arms and died. The pulmotor was rushed from police headquarters, but all efforts of John Meyers, police sanitary sergeant, to restore life were futile.
Walter Logan was born in Leavenworth. He was a pupil of the Cathedral school and was well liked by all his playmates.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
