Epping Veteran Killed
An Epping Veteran of World War II was killed Saturday night when his car careened off Tilton Hill Road in Pittsfield and crashed into two trees and a telephone pole.
Leslie A. Dodge, aged 22, son of Harold and Ethel Dodge of Epping, was the 33d person to be killed in an automobile accident in New Hampshire this year.
A passenger in the car with Dodge, Edward Farrell, aged 26, of Pittsfield, suffered cuts and bruises and was treated by a doctor, state police reported.
Dodge, who served in the Navy, was employed at a Georgetown, Mass., furniture factory.
Besides his parents, he leaves two brothers, Roland of Nottingham and Albert of Epping ; four sisters, Mrs Warren Brown of Exeter, Mrs. Harold Jameson of Gonic, Mrs. Ralph Edwards of Northwood and Mrs. James S. Foote of Epping, and his grandmother, Mrs. Florence Dodge of Epping.
