Mr. Marlar died Friday at a local nursing home. He was a resident of Van Buren for 35 years and a retired salesman for the Harry G. Barr Co. of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly of Van Buren; one son Billy Joe of Van Buren; two sisters , Pauline of Yellville, Arkansas and Grace of Clarendon, Arkansas; one brother Forrest also of Clarendon.
