Russell Andry, 80, Jeffersonville, a former resident of Birdseye, died about 3 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 1990, in Longworth Skilled Cardiac Center in Charlestown.
He was born at Birdseye Dec. 5, 1909, to John and Martha (Waddle) Andry. He married Inez Eckert Feb. 17, 1940, at Birdseye.
Surviving are his wife, Inez, and brother, Arvel of Birdseye.
He was preceded in death by a son, Allen; six brothers, Herman, Albert, Charles, Claude, Homer and Raymond; two sisters, Cory and Lillie.
Mr. Andry was a retired school teacher. He taught at Boonville, Birdseye, Cuzco and Jeffersonville. He taught for 42 years. He was a member of the Christian Church and several organizations at Jeffersonville, including the Kiwanis Club.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville. Burial will be in the Birdseye Cemetary.
