Adaline Rose East of Warren, MI, formerly of Bedford, IN, died Thursday, December 28, 2000, at her resident. Born on November 23, 1923, in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Austin and Anna (Terrell) Ward. She married Dossie J. East in 1942, and he survives.

Surviving with her husband are three sons: David J. East, Mart T. East, and Philip East, all of Michigan; two daughter, Nancy D. Martin of Bedford, IN, and Melody East of Michigan; one brother, Albert Ward of Bloomington, IN; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Stone; and two brothers, William Luallen and Thomas Ward.

She was a retired business office manager in Warren, MI. She was a charter member of Davis Memorial Church of the Nazarene and was a member of Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene.

There will be a graveside service for Adaline East at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3rd, at Pleasant Run Cemetery with Bro. Dick Henderson officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
