After Charles died, she married John Elmer Sinclair

Anna M. Sinclair, 103, Birdseye, died at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, Jasper.
She was born at Birdseye Dec. 15, 1989, to Charles and Ada (Newton) Eckert. Her first husband, Charles Andry, died in 1964. Her second husband, John E. Sinclair, died in 1996.
Surviving are a step daughter, Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Gunderman, Celestine; a step son, John S. Sinclair, Indianapolis; nine step grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; three step great great grandchildren; and seven nephews, including Hoyt King and wife, Avis, Birdseye, who took care of her.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Victor, Lloyd and Homer Eckert; three sisters Blanche Eckert, Elsie "Oce" Austin and Opal King; and a step daughter.
Mrs. Sinclair was a member of Anderson Valley Christian Church and Birdseye Easter Star Society.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Nass and Sons Funeral Home, Huntingburg. Brother Jack Wilson and the Rev. Albert Madden will officiate. Burial will be in Birdseye Cemetery, Birdseye.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Birdseye Eastern Star will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. today.
