He was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1929 to Donald and Nora Ellis. At the age of 17, Jack, enlisted in the Korean Conflict in the Pacific. He was a joy to his mother and could make her laugh no matter how mad she was at him. A graduate of Lawrence Tech, Southfield, MI., posthumously. He was the kindest, most loving and gentle brother God ever created. He Died in 1960 in a car crash in Pontiac, Michigan and is buried in Ottawa Cemetery in Clarkston, Michigan. He is survived by his wife and two children.
