Today I'm remembering Bruce Auer of E-1 who died on October 28, 2007. There is little written about Bruce and for those who knew Bruce that's probably okay with him. Rock Roshong and I lived next door to him in Co A-1 during our first semester. Bruce was a good friend to all. If there was a good prank happening, Bruce was probably in the middle of it. He was Michigan through and through. He was born there, died there and worked for GM after leaving the service in 1970. I think the last time I saw him was probably at our 40th 2006. Always a smile and glad to see.
