James Morris Horn, better known as Morris, 74, Washington, died Monday, April 29, 1996, at St. John's Mercy Hospital, Washington.

Mr. Horn, son of the late William O. Horn and wife Anna Margaret, nee Bennett, was born January 3, 1922, in Boles.

He received his education at the Bethel School near Labadie.

On October 15, 1966, he was united in marriage to Clementine Banderman, nee Whitworth, at First Baptist Church of St. Clair.

Mr. Horn was a farmer for most of his life and had been employed at Hazel for about six years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Washington, where he served as a deacon, trustee, and was active in the church choir.

Mr. Horn was preceded in death by his parents and one brothers, Eugene Horn.

He is survived by his wife, Clementine; two stepsons, Aurbrey "Porky" Banderman and wife Dixie, Lonedell, and Ted Banderman and wife Joyce, Tarpon Springs, Florida; one stepdaughter, Grace Burnett and husband Keith, St. Clair; one brother, Lester Horn and wife Mary Lou, Labadie; seven step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one uncle; one aunt; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1, at First Baptist Church, Washington, Rev. Chuck Williams officiant. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Labadie.
