Mrs. Mary S. Pote, widow of the late Maurice B. Pote, died Monday morning, 4 o'clock, at her home on Granary street. She was aged 84 years and had been in feeble health for many months past. Deceased was Miss Mary Schnee (daughter of Luther and Caroline Schnee). She married M.B. Pote more than sixty-four years ago--May 6th, 1866. Her husband died Sept. 13th last. Five daughters and a number of grandchildren survive. Funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday, 2 p.m. Interment at Maple Hill.
