Mrs. J. W. Forehand, a Wellington resident 13 years, died at her home at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18. Although she had a heart ailment several years, her death was unexpected.

Before coming here, Mrs. Forehand and her family lived at Earle, Arkansas.

Seventy-six years old, she was born in [McNairy County] Tennessee October 19, 1891, and before her marriage was Mamie T. [Tennessee] Williams.

She and Mr. Forehand were married in 1912, at Lapanta [Lepanto], Arkansas [25-May-1912].

She was a member of the Assembly of God.

Mrs. Forehand is survived by her husband, J. W. Forehand of Wellington; two daughters and a son: Mrs. Virgil Thomason of Wellington; Mrs. Madeline Newcomb of Mobile, AL; and Dennie Forehand of Parkin, Arkansas; two sisters and a brother: Mrs. Mae Linville of Earle, Arkansas; Mrs. Marie Loftis and Carl Williams of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

[She was preceded in death by her parents; James Allen Williams and Samantha Idella Cole Williams, and by 6 siblings who all died as infants.]
