Henry Lisle Parker was born June 15, 1925, in Hooper, Weber County, Utah. His parents were Robert Parel Parker and Hattie Green Parker.

He married Luella Johnson August 28, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He lived in Hooper all his life. He attended Hooper Elementary and Jr. High and graduated from Weber High School. He graduated from Weber Jr. College and Utah State Agricultural College with a B.S. degree.

He attended Hospital Corp School at Balboa Park Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif. He was hospital apprentice 1st Class, of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II in the Naval Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He taught school in the Weber County School District at Arsenal Villa, South Junior, Roy Junior, Roy High, and Bonneville High School for 31 years.

He was associated with his father and sons in a Grade A dairy business.

He was a faithful member of the Hooper LDS First Ward. He served as bishop; served on the Hooper Utah Stake Sunday School Board; was a Lakeview stake missionary; a guide at the Ogden Temple Visitors' Center; High Priest group leader; and a dedicated home teacher. At the time of his passing, he was serving as an Ogden Temple officiator, a capacity he had served in since 1988.

He was a member of the Weber Education Association, UEA and NEA. He was a member of the Hooper Farm Bureau and the Brown Swiss Cattle Association.

His hobby was training and driving his team of Clydesdale horses and shetlands.

He was preparing to participate with them in the Ogden Pioneer Day's parade and never happier than at the time of his unexpected and sudden passing. He will be remembered for his love of the Lord; his love of his wife, Luella, of nearly 54 years; his love of his home and farm in Hooper; his love of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and his love of great literature, which he often quoted.

His kind and loving nature will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Luella, Hooper; four sons and three daughters, Curtis (Mayla) Parker, Hooper, Alan (JoAnn) Parker, Clinton, Dale (Misti) Parker, Westpoint, Evan (Tammy) Parker, Hooper, Beverly Bailey, Centerville, Shanna (Steven) Grow, Fort Ashby, W.V., and Ada (Edward) Foy, Hooper; 33 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother and sister Robert (Maxine) Parker, Centerville; Robena (Spencer) Falslev, Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dale Parel Parker.
