Mrs. Carper was the daughter of Josiah and Mary Ann Baughman and was born and reared on a farm northeast of Louisville. She is survived by her husband. funeral services will be held form St. Paul's Lutheran church at Alliance this afternoon at 2 0'clock and will be conducted by the pastor Rev. C. D. Geiger.
