OBITUARY: The Manti Messenger, Friday 12 July 1912:
Sterling Items
Mary S. (Edwards) Freckleton wife of Samuel H. Freckleton died at their home in Blackfoot, Idaho, last Sunday. She leaves besides her husband, seven children, the youngest being only 17 days old. Mr. and Mrs. Freckleton were formerly of this place, she being the daughter of Harrison M. and Nahoma Edwards. Her body was brought here for burial Wednesday. The funeral was held Thursday at 2 p.m. Mrs. Freckleton was born in Manti February 12, 1874. Her parents moved to Sterling when she was 9 years old. She married H. Freckleton of Eureka in 1892. They moved to Mammoth where they lived for some time, then to Blackfoot, Idaho where they have since resided. She is also survived by her parents, five sisters and three brothers. Her body was accompanied here by her husband and six children, two sisters Mrs. Frank Peterson and Mrs. James H. Whitlock together with their husbands also Mr. Freckleton's father and mother and a sister.
