Chester Lawrence O'Connor was the son of Peter & Veronica Okuniewicz. Chester or "Chet" (as he was best known) changed his last name in 1942. He had red hair that well suited his hewly changed Irish last name. He was a marvelous dancer during the big band era and had a charming personality that everyone enjoyed.

In about 1938 he married Cleo Kondus. They were married for about 6 years and had one child, Veronica Belle O'Connor. After WWII they divorced. He then married Agnes Gudell. They had one daughter, Denise Maureen O'Connor.

He worked at the Swift Meat Packing plant in New Jersey for most of his life.
